Some possibly good signs coming out of Brady's appeal-it was a very long hearing of 10 hours. Now it may be a lengthy decision process for Goodell afterword.
The Bountygate hearing was just a few hours. So evidently there may have been some actual discussion going on and if it's an open and shut case for Goodell it would be over much sooner you'd imagine.
I hear a lot of pundits saying that maybe Brady finally handed over his phone records as if that's been the problem. I've been over this before: Brady does as we all do have the right to due process and probable cause.
Even if you have nothing to hide or you going to just hand me over your phone and all your private correspondences to me if I wrongly accuse you and demand you hand it over?
Too many pundits seem to never have heard of the Constitution

Tom Bruschi wants his man, Brady, totally exonerated. Amen.
"Former Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi isn't staying silent during the Tom Brady hearing"

Right away I love that expression of solidarity. He's not just going to 'tend his own garden' and not worry about his friend and former teammate.
"I would like to see it eliminated completely ... I support this organization 100 percent and I think there's no way they should stop until it's gone completely," Bruschi told reporters at his football camp this week, via CSN New England.
UPDATE: Evidently, Brady aced the hearing. If so maybe full exoneration is on the table.

"This isn't exactly a shocker. Bruschi, who played with Brady and Patriots coach Bill Belichick for eight seasons, has used any platform he can find to champion Brady's cause throughout the process."
"On one hand, it's got to be a testament to the sort of teammate Brady is. NFL storylines can quickly cause old friends to burrow underground or plead the fifth. On the other, it's interesting that Bruschi is taking such a megaphone to the process given the depth of information that needs to be reviewed here"
"Brady's hearing culminated after more than 10 hours on Tuesday night and there could be a lengthy decision period that follows."
"We won't know for some time whether or not Bruschi is worth hearing out on this."
In fact there are some real problems with the Wells Report which if true mean that Brady does indeed deserve full exoneration as well as an apology.

Everyone has just presumed that the Wells Report is accurate and demanded that Brady 'come clean' and let them read whatever messages they want to read. However, what if is not only inaccurate but willfully so?
Even this possibility should make you begin to understand why we have things like due process and probable cause. If those accusing you were 1000% trustworthy maybe we wouldn't need probable cause. That's clearly not the case with the Wells Report.
