Rush Limbaugh Again Attacks Occupy Wall Street

He can't stop it in fact. His abuse of the demands of ordinary Americans is chronic like a man that can't stop hitting his wife. Rush should get help.

On the one hand he is playing the usual Right wing canard that there "aren't that many protesters" but typical for Rush he offers not a shred of proof for this baseless claim. In addition he tries to claim that it isn't a real spontaneous movement that it is "all being driven by the media" or advertising. He claims the Tea Party movement was authentic. Sure they had no financial support. Koch Brothers. You'll have to forgive me, I'm suffering from Turrets Syndrome.

Now he is taking a page from Andrew Breitbart's book citing some "incriminating" emails that supposedly shows that visible media figures are giving the protesters marching orders. He makes a mountain out of a molehill, belaboring some "email exchanges between journalists like Dylan Ratigan and Matt Taibbi, which show the duo –among others — advising the OWS protesters."

As Taibbi points out "People out there do not need media figures to tell them how fucked things are, or how pissed they should be that the same bankers who caused the crash are now enjoying state-supported bonuses in the billions, while everyone else gets squeezed.  As someone who has been covering this stuff for three years, I can say with confidence that people across the country don’t need a push to be angry. They’re already there, and have been there for years. Rush should go hang out outside a foreclosure court in his home state of Florida for a few hours, if he wants to see where the rising heat under these protests is coming from."

Limbaugh and company keep pushing the tired line that this is all orchestrated that they are dupes of President Obama, “The Democrats are so jealous of [the] Tea Party, they can’t see straight,” Limbaugh said. “Obama’s responsible for this. This kind of thing is not spontaneous, they didn’t bubble up out of nothing; they’ve had to create this, they’ve had to pay for it. They’re advertising.”

Really Rush no one is jealous of the Tea Party, as enviable as it must be to be like that Tea Party woman who demanded that "you take your government hands of my Medicare."

The Tea Party was the simple creation of corporate interests-Kock, etc. The OWS protesters aren't all Obama supporters but keep talking Rush. You can only push them into his arms.
