Sigh. Hillary Clinton and Much Ado About Emails

It's reported that she's going to do a press conference to answer media questions about email. I still don't ssee why this is necessary. However, the usual chickenshit liberals like Paul Waldman perhaps led the Hillary camp to conclude she has to do this.

My problem with Waldman and every other Democrat that is taking the attitude that she has to come out and bare her soul over this is they've evidently never heard of the concept that it's a mistake to dignify certain lines of questioning with a response. I think this email furor is one such thing.

Waldman seems to somehow feel that when the GOP goes off the deep end it's Hillary's fault somehow-I guess she was dressed too provocatively. He's 'exhausted' with defending the Clintons, he complains and doesn't want to defend her against any 'legitimate criticism.'

Wonderful. He's the kind of guy you want in a foxhole. In politics you don't always have the luxury of being so precise about everything. How can you even find the legitimate criticism among all the garbage? Good to know that when the going gets tough he's heading for the hills.

I guess I'll have to quote Thaddeus Stevens again-the greatest Radical Republican of them all: Principles indeed! Betray your principles and stand by your party!

Politico is trying to cover itself here after the initial NY Times piece on Much Ado About Email

"The decision to address the issue comes amid mounting criticism of her use of a personal email account, which did not comply with State Department regulations issued in 2005 governing email used for official business. Reports in the New York Times and the Associated Press detailed how Clinton used a private server, housed in her suburban New York residence, to channel her emails, which are supposed to be maintained as part of a federal agency’s historic record."

Notice how delightfully vague this is. Politico could be a pal and actually tell us what the 2005 law is and how she allegedly broke it but-that's not the point. It's just an excuse for Hillary bashing.

The law that states that a Secretary of State must use only the government email is from 2014. Where this 2005 law comes in Politico doesn't say. Meanwhile although she turned over 55,000 private emails the GOP is all in a tizzy because there were some emails about Benghazi in the bunch. They are uselessly speculating about her not releasing all the emails.

Thanks to the attitude of chickenshit liberals a la Waldman this is getting much more legs than it deserves.

I know this is a great thing because now we're going to get to vote for Saint Elizabeth; unlike Hillary, she isn't obsessed with ambition, she has no selfish desires at all, she just wants to throw the money changers out of the temple.

Unlike these oh so scrupulous Democrats, Republicans have no doubt this is a war.
