This is how they tried to spin it if you can believe it. We had doubted it but now that faux billionaire, a freak and side show who has spouted birther nonsense, Donald Trump proves he cares about the poor.
A great question Wolf Blitzer asked Trump today is seeing that Trump has very negative personal approval numbers how can he help Romney?
What Trump does mean is that Romney may start to look "inevitable." This is why I think Romney has been ballyhooing this endorsement so much.
Evidently Trump has given up his faux campaign-had he endorsed Gingrich he might have still been able to come in as an independent later.
No doubt it's disappointing that it looks as if Romney probably has started to lock this thing in now. Again, Trump is just one more example of Romney seeming to be inevitable.
Still I got to believe that the Obama campaign will relish a campaign against Romney. There are so many great ads to use against him. The time he said he likes firing people, the time he made that lame joke that he's unemployed, even that creepy joke when he pretended a waitress grabbed his ass.
This guy is clueless about the optics of a campaign, how he as a trust fund baby needs to be able to empathize with the problems real Americans face in their real lives.
