I still can't get over this week's episode, are you kidding me?! In the annals of Survivor history many make the-empty-gesture of giving someone they're trying to ingratiate themselves with their immunity idol, but who actually does it?
Earlier this season Edna tried asking Coach for it and he wouldn't even consider it hypothetically. So now Brandon gives it to Albert-of all people. You love when Albert was asked if he felt guilty and if he shouldn't give it back to Brandon after it became clear that he may be going home? Albert claimed that he believed Brandon was safe.
What is the deal with this guy? What we have in Brandon is someone dangerously impressionable-I mean this is why he was in the gangs he talks about growing up. He can't say no, can't make decisions and has terrible judgement.
It's bad enough to give away your immunity but to Albert? Meanwhile Albert completely misplayed it now too, trying to cover his ass by calling Jim a liar was stupid; he forgot that he needed Jim's vote too, that even though Brandon had won immunity he still had only one vote-he may have gotten by this week by somehow seducing this feeble minded guy but Coach, Sophie and Jim want him gone. His only hope is if for some reason Ozzy when comes back-I'm presuming he'll swat Brandon away-yes I'm discounting Brandon-he decides that an alliance with Albert makes sense. I can't really see why.
Albert thought he was such a genius at strategy but his only virtue is that he's good at playing like he's a lot nicer than he is-it was good enough to infatuate Brandon. John Cochran can rest easy now, he's no longer in danger of winning dumbest move of the year if not one of the all time dumbest moves in Survivor history.
I mean to be on the chopping block as Brandon was and to win immunity and then give it up and tell those who want you gone that's what you're going to do-Coach was bummed that he won so he couldn't send him home. Luckily for Coach and Sophie, Brandon decided to be a martyr for no reason whatsoever.
