After all, his candidate is basically trying to highjack the Democratic party. Though out his career Bernie has always thrown mud in the party's eye and admits he only ran as a Dem for the publicity.
Even now he is raising no money for the party. His concern is just his own canddidacy which he sees as the only thing that matters.
So it's hard to see Jeff Weaver's comments here as anything but comic relief:
"A top aide to Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders warned late Tuesday that rivalHillary Clinton is running a divisive campaign that is hurting party unity."
"Don't destroy the Democratic Party to satisfy the secretary's ambitions to become president of the United States," Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver told CNN.
"We want to have a party at the end of this that we can unify," he added.

Unity? The whole Bernie Sanders campaign is about trying to destroy a unified Democratic party that wants Hillary Clinton to be its nominee. As Jamil Smith notes, there is some sexism here too about Hillary's 'ambitions.'
Weaver seems to think there is something unseemly about a woman with the ambition to be President.

Overall, here is some needed perspective from David Plouffe, Obama''s 2008 campaign manger who knows what he speaks:
"Perspective. Clinton 100% will be Dem nominee. Trump most likely GOP, Cruz creeping up. No one else. Clinton strong favorite to be POTUS 45."

Keep this in mind, Hillary lovers, as Bernie's team tries to get the media to buy into the phony narrative of 'momentum', in the next few weeks.
