I Implore you to Vote for Kate Marshall for Nevada Rep. Today

My friends I appreciate your continuing support and I am glad to have gotten to know many of you. I would appeal to you today that you make sure to go out today to vote for Kate Marsahll in the special election for Nevada representative against her Republican opponent Mark Amodei, who is just like Dean Heller whose old seat this is. In other words Mr. Amodei is just another Brian. Sandoval clone.

The state of Nevada has suffered enough from Gov. Sandoval alas. Nevada is not my home state, in fact I've never been there. However, my good friend and co-host Turbo Kitty does reside there and knows first hand how much this wonderful state has been suffering. The goal is to render the entire state like Pahrump.

"Marshall won the near-universal support of those voting, a testament to the strong backing from influential party members with which she enters the race. However, the most powerful individual behind Marshall in her fight to take Nevada’s Second District appears to be Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
As of Saturday, Reid — whose 2010 campaign earned high praise for smart and early organizing that guaranteed former opponent Sharron Angle a much tougher fight than many expected or even observed during the campaign itself — had reportedly already helped Marshall raise close to $100,000."

Kitty often tells me about the good man and dedicated public servant Harry Reid really is, something the media rarely gives us a chance to see. In Amodei we have another dedicated opponent of all social spending who thinks that the brunt instrument of austerity is somehow going to turn the economy around. The idea that cutting social spending in any way helps the economy is science fiction yet it is for many who are policy makers an article of faith alas.

Please vote for Kate Marshall, a woman who is a former treasury of Nevada and  knows what true public service is about.
