Reality hardly sounds like the feverish imagination of a Rush Limbaugh or an Andrew Breitbart:
"The White House reportedly wanted to put President Barack Obama on primetime television Tuesday to tout Obamacare's 7 million enrollees -- but network TV officials denied him the airtime."

Are they worried his ratings wouldn't be good enough? In any case, the GOP is now left with wild theories about why ACA got more signups than anticipated-7.1 million, including 1 million who didn't already have healthcare. In fact, according to early estimates by Urban Institute, 5.4 million non elderly Americans now have healthcare that didn't have it before.
"The study measured the net change through March 31, when enrollment ended."
"The uninsured rate fell by 2.7 percentage points, to 15.2 percent among adults 18-65. Unsurprisingly, the drop was greater in states that adopted Obamacare's Medicaid expansion -- by an average of 4 percentage points, versus 1.5 percentage points for states that declined the expansion."
"The Urban Institute cautioned that the estimates "understate the full effects of the Affordable Care Act on the uninsured" by not fully capturing the late enrollment surge and omitting dependents who gained coverage under a parent's plan."

However, the networks have such a great evening lineup these days they can't be expected to miss even a second of it.
