Bernie is fired up when he cares about issues. We know he hates banks and wants to take a sledge hammer to them though HRC has a better plan to actually reduce financial risk.

He gets fired up, passionate, indeed, he shouts. As the Larry David satire of Bernie shows, he never stops shouting. Until the issue is something he doesn't care so much about.
When there's a mass shooting something very interesting happens. Bernie stops shouting and even goes one better and says It's time to stop the shouting. .
On the issue of gun control, the Bern-man just doesn't have religion. He think the only reason Hillary might talk about it is polls.
"On Sunday, Sanders accused the Clinton campaign of going after him on guns because it is “panicky” over tightening polls."
"Sanders voted twice for what the head of the NRA called the most significant piece of pro-gun legislation in the last 20 years: giving gun manufacturers sweeping immunity for their actions."
"It’s unclear how much traction Sanders might get on the issues he chose to highlight Sunday night, however, given the nuanced nature of some of the differences with Clinton."
"Sanders, for example, supports legislation pending in Congress that would guarantee workers three months of paid family and medical leave. The benefit would be paid for by an increase in payroll taxes that Sanders says would cost the average worker $1.61 a month."
“I would hope Secretary Clinton joins us in fighting for that proposal,” Sanders told his audience, noting that the plan is popular among progressive lawmakers.
"Clinton has voiced support for the same goal but balked at the idea of paying for it by raising taxes on lower-income workers, even modestly. She has promised not to raise taxes on those making less than $250,000 a year and argued that guaranteed family leave could be funded another way."

Meanwhile it's clear the President isn't feeling the Bern.

He says Dems should vote single issue for gun control. That definitely doesn't lead to voting for Bernie.

Sure Bernie, tell that to Andy Parker who lost his daughter in a mass shooting by a disgruntled co-worker at the news station she worked at in Virginia. No wonder Parker says Bernie is terrible on gun control.

Tell it to all those who have lost sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, loved ones or friends to gun violence because he and the GOP have deregulated gun ownership so much.

Tell this to Gabrielle Giffords who is standing with Hillary for sanity in guns.

Bernie makes the excuse that he gave the NRA that big win in 2005-and voted against the Brady bill 4 times int the 90s-because he's from Vermont. That he did the best he could do considering. Sure, the best he could do is give immunity to an entire industry from lawsuits. But then how do you explain his fellow Senator Pat Leahy?
Bernie's main reaction to the topic is to switch to a different topic. He likes to slam HRC as being too close to the banks. But has no actual proof of this. All he can come up with is that she's had some financial donors. But this donor is destiny argument doesn't work.
He took NRA money but we have his many votes against gun control and for the industry. Bernie has no counterexample of Hillary voting against financial reform.
