On the Dems' Allison Grimes Problem, President Obama Gets it

Call it the great minds think alike edition-namely President Obama's and mine. I've been saying that this is is less a repudiation of Obama than Dems who treat him like he has cooties in public like Grimes.

I'm happy that Obama gets it too and that he doesn't plan to listen to those that are telling him to basically get on his knees and suck GOP dick.

"Two things were clear long before the votes were counted on Tuesday night: President Obama would face a Congress with more Republicans for his final two years in office, and the results would be seen as a repudiation of his leadership."

"But that was not the way Mr. Obama saw it. The electoral map was stacked against him, he argued, making Democrats underdogs from the start. And his own party kept him off the trail, meaning he never really got the chance to make his case. “You’re in the Final Four,” as one aide put it, “and you’re on the bench with a walking boot and you don’t get to play.”

Republicans think the election means he has to say yes to everything they send to his desk. Why should he? Last night hardly shows that he needs a lobotomy where he now loves GOP ideas. If it did then why did liberal ideas do so well even in red states?

Yes to the minimum wage, yes to pot legalization, no to personhood. My hope is that Obama just goes for it. What difference does it make now. He has absolutely nothing to lose anyway. GOPers may try to convince him that he should worry about his legacy, that his legacy will be better if he basically sucks their dicks. Has a lobotomy and says 'You're the boss, Boehner and McConnell.'

Just ignore them Mr. President and damn the torpedoes. I mean legacies are written by history and historical perspective can change look at how unpopular Harry Truman was and look at him now.

My hope is that he pushes through his immigration reform changes right away. I don't care about making the Republicans mad. They're always mad anyway and no matter what he does they'll hate him, hate him that he's a Democrat, that he's a liberal, that he's black, that he's the one to finally pass healthcare.

Will they impeach him over it or investigate him or try to sue him? If so they are going to do that anyway. Just go for it, let it rip!
