Party Time: Scott Brown Moving to New Hampshire

Smart move. He won't get elected again in Massachusetts. I'm happy that the Bay State-which was my adopted state for a number of years though thankfully I'm back where I belong now, here in the Empire State, NY-is rid of him. The party referred to in my title are the people of Mass.

"Former Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) has found a buyer for his home in Wrentham, Massachusetts and plans to move to New Hampshire, further fueling rumors that he plans to run for Senate in the state."

"Andrew Glincher, the managing partner and chief executive officer at Nixon Peabody LLC, confirmed to Bloomberg News on Monday Brown's moving plans. Glincher said that because Brown is not licensed to practice law in New Hampshire he will continue working out of the law firm's Boston office."

"Brown's decision to move is one of the biggest hints he's made so far that he plans to run for Sen. Jeanne Shaheen's (D-NH) in New Hampshire."

"Brown is scheduled to appear at the New Hampshire GOP's annual holiday party on Thursday.
A pro-GOP super PAC has also recently begun urging running "Draft Scott Brown web ads."

He hopes to win Jean Sheehan's seat. Interestingly a NH GOPer has some real doom and gloom scenarios-most like Fire and Brimstone scenarios-if Brown does actually win there:

"One New Hampshire lawmaker is willing to go to extremes to prevent former Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) from exerting his influence in the Granite State."
"We’re not here to threaten anybody," Hoell said in a podcast. "We’re here standing on our soapbox, as opposed to standing with our ammo box in hand, to make a point politically. The message needs to get out that Scott Brown does not represent New Hampshire."

"The lawmaker was referring to a gun owners' rally scheduled to take place across the street from a New Hampshire GOP fundraiser Thursday in Nashua, which Brown is expected to headline. Hoell cited Brown's support for a federal assault weapons ban while he served as a Massachusetts senator as evidence he doesn't represent the interests of the state."

"If things continue the way they are, there may be a day or a time where firearms and ammo are necessary," he continued. "It happened in the Revolutionary War. I’d like to think we’re not there yet, but as things continue to unravel, that may be the next step."

Wow. I don't support Brown either, but Heoll feels especially strongly about it. He'll probably pull a Mitt Romney and 'forget' that he actually supported the federal assault weapons ban at one point. At least during the primary.

   I don't know if he's a RINO-Republican in name only-more like a DINO at least in Massachusetts.

  1. Answer to: ‘Firearms And Ammo’ May Be Necessary,
No, (would be) dictators don't prefer unarmed citizens. https://bitly.com/J09XbZ
Those who say that should read some real history that isn't propaganda
