Mitt Romney Has Harry Reid Right Where He Wants Him

      Romney is at it again. He's going after Reid balls to the wall. He's paid his taxes, every year "lots and lots of taxes." He wants Reid to divulge his Bain source. Love the way Romney is taking control  of the narrative here!

      "In a rare press availability Friday, Mitt Romney took aim at Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), who for days has been hammering Romney to release more of his tax returns, while claiming he has secret information that Romney went 10 years without having to pay any taxes."

      “I have paid taxes every year, and a lot of taxes,” Romney said. “So Harry is wrong.”

       "Over the past week, Reid repeatedly claimed to talked to a client of Romney’s Bain Capital with knowledge of Romney’s tax history who told him the presumptive GOP nominee didn’t pay federal income taxes for 10 years. Reid has declined to reveal the name of his purported source, one the one hand calling the source “extremely credible” and on the other hand freely admitting he has no idea if what his source is saying is true."

      "At the press avail, Romney repeated his call for Reid to divulge his source, doubling down on his suggestion that the White House is behind Reid’s accusations."

        It's getting so bad, Romney is actually speaking before the press, gone are the happier, simpler times when Romney would-literally-thumb his nose at the press, his campaign telling reporters, "Kiss my ass."

       I thought these attacks were having no effect? I thought that the American people don't care if he hasn't paid his taxes, that all that matters is the economy and nothing but the economy.

       Like John Marshall says, "Romney has Reid right where he wants him, pinned down in an argument over whether Romney should release his tax returns … D’oh!"

       I think that Romney is forgetting that the campaign is against President Obama and not Harry Reid.

       More and more this whole episode is reminding me of when Elmer Fudd used to try to hunt Bugs Bunny and pointed the gun down Bugs' rabbit hole and ended up pointing it back at himself or something.
