Trump Hotel Bookings Down 60% During Presidential Campaign

We hear that Trump is a brilliant deal maker and negotiator.

If he were such a brilliant negotiator then why did he antagonize the Trump U judge and goad him into releasing the case's documents? It seems that all Trump's nasty slur and overall attempt to bully got him was a whole heap of trouble.

Is this the kind of brilliant negotiating skill he will take to international affairs?

He's also supposed to be a brilliantly successful businessman. Though Mark Cuban argues he's only worth $165 million which is less than the $200 million his father, Fred Trump, left him.

As Cuban says, the main thing Trump is good at is putting his name on things.

Meanwhile. he is still putting his name on things and promoting his business in the middle of a campaign, something truly unprecedented.

"Trump Is Still Promoting His Business. Is That Wrong?"

"Only days before his nomination—right after the UK’s “Brexit” vote—he’s going to Scotland to tout his new golf course. No one has ever done this before."

Let's answer the simple question first: Is it wrong? Yes. The media needs to do its job and call him on it. Think of the Holy Heck the media raises over the Clinton Global Initiative which at least is a philanthropic organization that has done good for poor people the world over.

But there's the rub. Even if he continues to promote his business during his campaign, his campaign has not been good for his business. While he promotes his new golf course in Scotland, he's lost his golf course in the US-it's going to Mexico of all things.

What a great dealmaker. I thought he was supposed to bring jobs back from Mexico?

Meanwhile, Trump Hotels bookings are down 60%.

Not surprising. After all, he's now totally politicized his brand. Now going to a Trump Hotel has a lot more to do with mood affiliation.

Of course, he's also lost his tv empire. The Apprentice, as well as Miss America. He says he's great with women, but his legacy at Miss America was to take away the talent portion of the competition.

He has also ruled out having a women VP-he says that anything but a white male is pandering.

Trump may have $165 million in the bank now like Cuban says. But if anything this may hurt his revenue stream.

I guess is nothing else he has a Fox News show in his future if he wants it.
