Shaun King Turns the Daily News into an Organ of the Bernie Sanders Campaign

Today we have yet another front page that is pushing the message of Bernie and Tad Devine. So much for equal time. The paper seems to see its job as amplifying Bernie as much as possible.

It's accuses Hillary of being a 'debate dodger.' This is silly. Just like Bernie first told us that super delegates should never vote other than how the primary voters did and is now saying that he will ask super delegates to vote other than primary voters did assuming they voted for Hillary, now he's trying to suggest there is some great principle behind his desire for a debate before the NY April 26 vote.

Just like there was no principle behind the issue of SDs-as is shown by Bernie now moving 180 degrees on the subject-there is no principle with debates. Bottomline: when you are behind you want more debates and when you are in front you want fewer.

And we have had plenty of debates and town halls. At some point it gets repetitive. I think Democrats have a good handle of where each candidate stands. It's up to her whether she wants another debate or not. But Bernie has no moral high ground in wanting one as it's in his interest-he's down so he has to try to catch up.

She's ahead and doesn't really gain from another debate. True, she is very good at them and will do fine if she chooses to have one. But lets face it, as Bernie in theory stands something to gain from another debate and it's not principled on his part to want one.

Yes, he did agree to another debate before NH but he did it in exchange for a number of future debates. He gained a lot from this. It wasn't the pure goodness of his own heart as Hillary agreeing to another debate would be.

As to the Daily News, it seems that we have three very anti Hillary papers in NY. The Daily News is blatantly pro Bernie. The NY Post is blatantly anti Hillary and then there's the NY Times which has always been blatantly anti Hillary.

Even Donald Trump has his own paper-the National Enquirer. Only Hil seems not to have a media organ in her favor. Can you imagine the criticism you'd hear if there were a paper as blatantly on her side as Shaun King's Daily News is on Bernie's?
