Time for Dems to Unite and Fight the Common Enemy

In my last post, I wrote about how Bernie has now done a 180 on superdelegates. Before, it was some kind of crime against democracy for them to vote contrary to the popular vote. Now he is saying they should ignore the popular vote and vote for Bernie even though their states aren't.

Sure the SDs are going to give it to the guy who just admitted to renting the Democratic party the other night because he wins Idaho and Utah. The old argument was that somehow she is a 'regional candidate' because she won the South.

Now that's gone, Bernie is the better choice even though Democratic voters prefer Hilary and now he actually expects the party to unilaterally choose him over her.

If only I were kidding. Hopefully he rethinks this idea soon. Voters are going in the opposite direction. They want to wrap this up. They also apparently haven't appreciated Bernie's increasingly negative campaign of the last few weeks. His efforts to NAFTA her to death and tie her to Rahm Emmanuel didn't work.

As David Axelrod notes, she still got the same huge slice of black voters in Illinois despite the Rahm strategy.

Look, I think that Bernie will get credit by many for running a great campaign. But if he hangs around for three months just to take potshots at her, it will wear thin. Many will turn against him. I mean if he can't win why keep attacking her on her speeches and her super PAC? Especially since he has a super PAC anyway.

It's ironic-he outspent her last night and still lost.

Wouldn't he at that point be doing nothing but Donald Trump's dirty work?

I think he had better confine himself to attacking Trump going forward. The nasty attacks on Hillary will not be appreciated.
